Meet Miss Jennifer Nutmeg.


She's such a pretty little girl,
dressed in her spicey-coloured dress,


stripey bloomers & spotty apron.


She doesn't really need much introduction,
other than to say she'd love a new home
in time for Christmas!!!!

Girls will be Girly

2 lovely unique girly aprons
both made in crisp cotton.

The Pink Spotty Apron


This pretty pinafore-style apron
is made with lovely vivid pink
and white spot cotton
with a contrast of pale pink poplin
with a tiny cute pattern,
and a matching button
on the bodice

Every seam and hem is bound
with a bright turquoise bias binding
so no seams or edges show


The back has spotty cross over straps
long enough to go through
the loops and tie at the
back of the ribs.


The pockets are quite deep
giving plenty of hiding room
to keep things safe.


The Sweetie Ice Cream Apron
is also made in pinafore-style,
very practical for any
little girls baking day


The seams and edges are bound with
a pretty pink bias binding
which is a lovely contrast
to the turquoise poplin
and creamy pinks, blues and yellows
of the apron.

The cross-over back
ties securely
making sure clothes are covered


Inside is a Bloomin' Myrtle tag
sewn as a hanging loop

And there's a lovely button detail
on the centre of the bodice.

The measurements are
from the centre front to hem 15"
and the width across
the front is 18"
The size would suit ages 3-6 years.

Birdhouse in your Soul

These sweet little Birdhouses

are the newest addition to
the Bloomin' Myrtle range.

They are made from gorgeous
printed cotton from P&D Fabrics.

Each one is made individual
by the embellishments I've used,
standing approx. 25cm tall
and weighing approx. 600g.



First off is the Red Button Birdhouse.

It has a frilly band of brown & cream gingham
and the bird on the front has been hand-painted
in brown, red & green.


The large red button is from my
vintage button jar.
The Red Button Birdhouse is now sold.

The second is Green Button Birdhouse,
mostly because it has a large
green vintage button on the front


It also has a sweet little
appliqued bird in brown floral fabric
with a green felt wing.
The frilly ruffle is pale green
with tiny white polka dots.

The third is the Gingham Button Birdhouse


This has a large button that has
had the Mod Podge treatment
with brown gingham fabric,
which matches the ruffle
around the roof.
The front is embellished
with a little wooden bird.


All of the Birdhouses have a
rice-filled base, scented with
a mix of fresh smelling oils,
including lime, orange,
vanilla and flowers.


And the all have a variety
of buttons and little insects
and a little wooden perch.

Miss Strawberry Sunshine

Meet Miss Strawberry Sunshine


This pretty little girl was out
in the early morning sunshine
for the photo shoot !!!


She loves showing her new dress and apron


especially all of the
hand appliqued strawberries


and the little bit of smocking
at the top.


She stands 27" tall,


and is wearing
posh new hand-sitched shoes,
lace trimmed socks


and a big red gingham bow
in her long reddy-brown hair


Her dress has a lovely
tiny strawberry print


which is fastened with small white buttons.


Under her dress is a cotton
Bloomin' Myrtle label


She loves all of her lace and ribbon
and there's quite a bit to show off !!!


But most of all she is looking for
a new mummy to adopt her
and to call her very own.

Miss Violet Bluebell

Meet Miss Violet Bluebell


She is a very sweet little girl
wearing her best floral cotton dress.
Under she has soft white bloomers,
trimmed with crocheted lace,
and gathered with gingham ribbon.


Violet is keeping her dress clean
with her best apron, trimmed with
tiny white crocheted lace, white buttons,


and fastened with lilac gingham ribbon.


Her dress is fastened with buttons and loops,


and just underneath is a
Bloomin' Myrtle cotton label.

Violet has white lace-trimmed socks
and felt boots,

And she has pretty gingham bows
in her hair


On the back of her dress is a
Bloomin' Myrtle cotton tag,
(which is removable)


Violet stands 27" tall (68cm)


And is just waiting for a new Mummy
to love her.
